One of the things I did last year for my birthday was a two-day escape to a beach side resort. And the trip went far beyond my expectations. It was on this voyage that I came across the above quote.  Eat healthy, sleep well, move harmoniously.  Simple, yet immensely complex. So many factors are involve in us getting the right stuff in our system, the right amount of sleep, and the adequate number of physical activity. And that's what I love about the quote, it simplifies all of that. So instead of stressing myself about how I should eat, sleep, and move I'm simply reminded that I should do it. And so far that mentality has been producing the best results.

What I'm Loving:
  • My weekly runs on the beach. Aside from being better for my physical health, this has really cleared some headspace.
  • I just finished Amy Poehler's Yes Please and cannot over recommended how incredible this book, and of course the author, is. It's not very often I pick up a celebrity book, but this one is definitely worth it.
  • All the amazing flower selections in the stores! So pretty.
  • And oh, two new bunnies in the house! I'm calling them Belle and Gaston, even though the rest of my family has chosen other names.

Weekend Reading:

What I'm Looking Forward To:
  • Going rollerblading around the track with my nieces and nephew.
  • Finishing Fred Vargas's The Chalk Circle Man. I haven't read a mystery in a long time and this is a good one.
  • Trying out this Avocado and Pistachio Ice Cream recipe. My two favorite things in a vegan ice cream. I'm literally praying to God this taste as good as I'm dreaming it will be. Will report on the results.

I hope you take this weekend to eat, sleep, and move harmoniously. All the best, love.

With Love,

Marie
