Final Look No.11
May 29, 2015
Ahh! It feels goooood to be getting back to writing and posting. It's been a very up and down month for me. Work, study, and personal life have been a whirlwind. And that's another reason I've been itching to get back to posting, the balance and the opportunity to tap into my creativity side. I keep getting these awesome ideas for post but haven't had the chance to get them on here. I promise I'm working on getting them on here. They're really great post that I'm sure you'll love. I'm looking forward to my weekend and plan on getting some of these post up next week, so be sure to stop by.
What I'm Loving:
- Spending solo time on the beach. Now with the sun setting after 8pm, I've been really able to enjoy late afternoons on the beach watching the sun set and the waves come in and go out.
- Going to the gym! I can't believe it's something I look forward to! I can hardly believe it, but seeing my progress really keeps me going and it's actually fun. Although I do feel like the least fit person there.
Weekend Reading:
- One of my favorite actresses, Elizabeth Banks, talks Hollywood and directing in last week's Edit
- Michelle Obama's commencement address
- How to start a home yoga practice
What I'm Looking Forward To:
- One of my bestest friends is coming to town for the summer! I'm sooooooo HAPPY!
- Reading! I've been devouring some great books lately. My summer list will be up shortly.
- Brunching and catching with friends. We're all gonna be in the same city so the next month will be jam packed with giggles and random funness.
What are you loving this week and what are you looking forward to this weekend? Can't wait to read about it, feel free to share below.
All the Best,

Blog Update
May 13, 2015
I've been absent here on the blog, intentionally. A few weeks ago I experimented with posting daily, I loved it, but knew that it's something I'd implement in the future rather than now. The last few weeks were filled with sleepless nights and trying to get a strong grip on my studying. In about two months I'm taking the MCAT. I'm excited and equally scared. There's so much change happening in my life and I'm grateful that I'm someone who embraces change, but the uncertainty of what's ahead is still scary.
Rather than trying to do it all, which never really works, I'm choosing to embrace this season of my life. My priority is definitely this impending exam, but I'll always be here on the blog and I have some great things coming up. I'll be updating the About section soon, so be sure to come by and see it all unfold. Expect about 3 or so post a week. I'm also working on a couple collaborations that I'm excited about and I think you're really gonna like.
Thank you for stopping by, feel free to say hi in the comments below.
With Love,

Final Look No.10
May 1, 2015
My favorite part of this week literally just happened before I wrote this post. I was having some internal conflict about a friend and I couldn't figure out why. It's kinda been a problem for some time. As a conflict-resolver this was seriously bothering me. I just couldn't figure out why I felt so uncomfortable about this individual. I've prayed about this and even discussed this with friends and family before, but recently the issue has been lodged in my mind. I'm the kind of person that has to come to a resolution in order to move on. So I called one of my best friends to discuss it and she hit the nail in the head.
