My favorite summer month is here! There are a bunch of reasons I love July, I celebrate four birthdays, it's hot but not August heat, and there's an aura of summery fun all around. So it's with a lot of excitement that I write this post of what I'm most looking forward to doing this month.
Easy Baking
- I love getting together with my nieces and baking the most delicious and easy sweets. I've got some amazing recipes I'm looking forward to trying that's not as sugary, but still wonderfully sweet. Some will require a bit more work, I hope it's worth it.
- Chewy Sultan Cookies
- Strawberry Jam Cookies
- Triple Coconut & Blueberry Muffins
- Cauliflower & Raspberry Cheesecake (really can't wait to test this out. BIG cheesecake lover over here).
Watch the Fireworks
- What better way to kick off this month than enjoy the Fourth of July fireworks. At home, on the beach, at a gathering, wherever you choose to see the show enjoy it and welcome it with childful glee.
Rest + Rejuvenate
- Can't stress this enough (pun intended). Sometimes I get so caught up in having a break and I try to use that time to plan all types of funness. Instead I'm going to use my breaks wisely as they are often the best opportunity for rest and relaxation. Sometimes it's what we most need.
Backyard Picnics + BBQ
- I'm a complete beach bum, but I usually like my beaches empty, so when summer rolls around that's not usually the case. Instead of struggling for parking and a spot on the beach I fully intend to make use of our backyard for lounging and family BBQs.
Leisurely Reading
- I've picked up a few of the books from my list and with a bit more time I hope to read at least 3, let's keep our fingers crossed.
Bonus Fun: Celebrating four birthdays!!!! Two brothers and two close friends!
I hope you enjoy this month as much as I hope to do so. Share your plans below.
With Love,
Marie
I'm all about the rest and rejuvenation. Can never have enough of that.
