Hey love,

We're at the end of the first quarter of this year. How's it going? Really, how's it going for you? Globally I know this year is stretching us all; from climate abnormalities, the coronavirus, and politics; 2020 is doing the most! Nevertheless, here we are and all I can say is that I'm thankful for this moment. Despite all that's going on around me I'm doing my best to control what I can control. It ain't easy, something I'm sure you're aware of. This month marks the beginning of one of my favorite seasons, spring. So expect a lot of gardens, flowers, and sunshine on my feed. I hope you're feeling encourage with this new start, regardless of how the year is going so far. You have an opportunity today, this month, to pivot and change. I hope you and both make the most of March.

Reading
The Happy Hormone Guide- I bought this book sometime late last year because it's been evident that my hormones are crazy out of whack. So I'm dedicating this whole month to educate myself on changes I can make. I'm looking for lifestyle changes instead of medication. This book is beautiful, which will hopefully get me through reading it; but it also seems to be full of great easy to follow content.

Watching
Love is Blind- I'm jumping on this hype train. I watched the first episode last night and all I can say is that I'm very skeptical. Home girl met her man and was engage in 5 days! Listen, I'm rooting for them; and all I can say is 'God's where's mine?'

Self Made- Another Netflix production. This is coming out later in the month, March 20th, and is a series based on the life of Madame CJ Walker. I'm real excited about this one; we all know who Madame CJ Walker is, but I don't think many know her story; one that needs to be told.

Listening
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings- Y'all, I love Miss Maya Angelou! I'm more than half way thorough her autobiography and what a storyteller she is. What a life she's lived. If you haven’t read/listen to this one, I highly recommended it.

Creating
Clay Dish- I'm always buying cute little trinket dishes at Anthropologie; so when I came across this DIY on YouTube I immediately knew I was going to give it a try. I'll definitely be sharing on my Insta and here at the end of the month.

Doing
Yoga in the Garden- I haven't gone since January and spring officially arriving is the perfect invitation I need to spend a Sunday morning doing yoga outside surrounded by flowers.

Spend an afternoon at the museum- Miami doesn't have as many museums as other major cities, but I do love to go every so month to our modern museum. I actually had the opportunity on Monday and I relished in it. Spent an hour pursuing the new exhibit and sitting by the water contemplating. It was nice.

Learn to edit for my YouTube- I've been taking his class on Lynda since January, so I hope to finish it. I've definitely applied what I've learned so far.

Prayer
Holy Spirit, thank you for this new month. Here with a fresh start, we have new hope and new grace. God, grant us the serenity to do our best, the courage to have faith, and the wisdom to trust in you. May this month be the best and most beautiful. May seeds we've planted begin to sprout. In Jesus name. Amen.

Love you.

Faithfully,

Marie
